LECTURE ASINPPAC BUENOS AIRES
Buenos Aires, 2021
In this lecture based on my dissertation, I presented my research on the personal archive of José Martín Bartolomé, an influential but previously unknown figure in the cultural sectors of Spain and Latin America. Through the application of curatorial theory, I analyzed his professional roles in exhibition direction, critical writing, and the promotion of emerging artists. Key case studies included his work at the Institute of Ibero-American Cooperation, the founding of the magazine Vardar, and the organization of the traveling exhibition The Generation of '80.
